Welcome to the home page of Bristo Memorial Church, Craigmillar, Edinburgh.

We are the parish church of the Church of Scotland situated on Peffermill Road and serving the western end of the Craigmillar and Greendykes areas in south Edinburgh.
We are here to witness to God's love, to share God's promises revealed in His Word and to worship God in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Everyone is welcome at Bristo Memorial Church of Scotland, whether you’ve come to church all your days, haven’t been for a while or have never even set foot in a church.

Jesus said:

‘The Spirit of the Lord is on me; because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favour'.

Luke 4:18New International Version - UK (NIVUK)

If you join us on a Sunday Morning at 11am you’ll be made most welcome. We are a friendly church and we welcome everyone from 0 to 100 or more! You can sit wherever you like. If you come with young family, then we have Crèche and Sunday Club – the children normally go through to the hall in the beginning, after a special time for them in the main service. Later in our service we read from the Bible. Then the minister leads us in reflecting on what we’ve read. We have accessible toilets as well. After service we have Tea, Coffee and Biscuits together.
